Intravenous sedation
Intravenous sedation (intravenous anaesthesia) is used concurrently with local anaesthesia in the case when the procedure or surgery is simple, but the patient is extremely anxious.
It is injecting sedatives, which leads to a decreased anxiety and relaxation. The effect of anaesthesia ends after terminating injections of medications, i.e., simultaneously with the completion of the surgery or procedure.
